54th Annual YMCA Pancake Breakfast

Where: Hilltop Family YMCA parking lot, 4300 Lakeside Drive in Richmond, CA.

For the last 54 years, the West Contra Costa YMCA has held a Pancake Breakfast in the Richmond community. Since their opening 16 years ago, the Hilltop Family YMCA has hosted the event. Each year, over 300 individuals have consumed thousands of pancakes cooked by volunteers on grills in the parking lot of the YMCA. In addition to the pancakes, participants receive sausage and beverages (coffee and orange juice) all for the bargain price of just $7 for the family.

Entertainment will also be provided, which has included the annual appearance of the Pinole Valley High School Marching Band. Fitness class demonstrations and raffles also engage the audience. This year's raffle prizes include savings bond from Mechanics Bank, dinner certificates from La Strada Restaurant, and a beautiful handmade quilt of YMCA t-shirts made by a Hilltop member to name a few.
