Teen Parent Program

We provide a variety of programs and support services to adolescents who are pregnant or teen parents. Our goal is to support them through getting their high school diploma. These services are a collaborative effort with the Contra Costa County First Five Commission and the WCCUSD:

• Childcare centers at Richmond High for teen parents attending high school.
• Adolescent Parent Program: a half-day school program for pregnant teens. Located at Richmond High, it is open to any WCCUSD student.
• Y-Team mental health services: two part-time clinicians provide individual, family and group therapy. 
• Y-Team case management and outreach services: a full-time outreach worker provides case management to pregnant teens in the Adolescent Parent Program and reaches out to pregnant and parenting teens who are not involved in one of these programs.
